The instrumental program is carefully structured to deliver the highest standard of tuition.Classical Guitar, Keyboard/Piano, Drums/Percussion, Bass Guitar, Clarinet, Trumpet, Acoustic Guitar, Violin, Electric Guitar, Saxophone, Vocals, Double Bass, Flute, Cello, Theory 

Students are timetabled on a rotating basis from week to week.

We HIRE instruments to students.

 

K-2 Earth Ensemble

Utilising both the Orff and Kodaly pedagogy, this ensemble is an introduction to the fundamentals of music. It is a fun and age appropriate class providing a comprehensive vehicle to musicianship.

The ensemble will run each week on a rotating basis. A minimum requirement of 10 students is required. Students will perform works on a regular basis. 

 

Concert Band

Concert Band involves modern and contemporary works with an emphasis on musicality and performance skills. The program aims to produce the highest standard possible for the age group. Rehearsals and sectionals are rotated throughout the day starting before school hours.

Students are expected to practice their instruments five times a week for at least 15 minutes each session.

The band usually performs up to four concerts a year and is involved in other community events and Eisteddfods.
